Working on a new table display for my smaller plush.  I wanted something taller and skinnier.  This one is a foot wide, about 2 feet tall and 18” deep.  Ignore the shelves that hang over those are ones from other wider displays :’D  I’m making new shelves for this one.  This one is all foamcore as my old ones are cardboard.  Also they will attach with magnets on the new one!  Easy peasy instead of pins.  Also I’m gonna add some cute bunting flags to the top on dowels.

This looks great - the curve in the middle (where it makes a little “hood” over the lower shelves) and the back is very attractive and distinguishes the presentation from other shelves we’ve seen in the past.

I have been asked several times how my new button display was made. So, I drew up a quick little tutorial for you guys!
Items Needed: Old Cardboard box, pretty scrapbook cardstock, glue, fleece and velcro.
Fleece was in my craft box at the time, but it can easily be swapped out with felt.
Create a frame out of the scrapbook cardstock. Cut out a piece of fleece/felt to be glued to the back of it.
Glue fleece to back of frame.
Cut a rectangle back board out of the cardboard box. Make sure this rectangle is a bit larger than your sparkly frame.
Cover the back board with fleece. I made a stand to glue to the back. There are plenty of tutorials on how to make one online.
Add one side of the velcro to the FRONT of the back board. Add other side of velcro to the BACK of the frame.
Pin buttons to front of frame.
Once the buttons are all pinned on, stick the frame to the back board. Complete!

Love the instructional drawings! Lots of opportunity to use this as a springboard and adapt the idea with other materials or to display other things.

I’ve been at Nickelodeon for about 3 months now, and I wanted to make something that paid homage to the Nickelodeon cartoons I grew up with. It’s a big image, so I included some close ups.

It’s amazing how much a cartoon can mean to you even after so many years. I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to help create cartoons for today’s kids!

Marvel-Avengers 2 Posters

*faints*

First one is a bit disconcerting.

*dies*

Look at that  second one! He has the tesseract in hand, Iron Man’s helmet under his foot, and Captain America’s shield and Abraham Lincoln’s head is below the Lincoln memorial. Also, Lincoln’s memorial words are broken in half.

Welp, there goes freedom

These are literal perfection I cannot wait for this movie.

holy shit Mjolnir is at his feet too

I am bursting with excitement for this movie and the last poster gives me hope that it won’t be completely tragic

Thor’s hammer is also in the rocks (behind the 15)

AHH SO EXCITE
